team
Our interdisciplinary team consists of medical doctors, data scientists, wet-lab scientists, research assistants, and students. Each lab member brings unique expertise, skills, and insights to our projects. We are always looking for exceptionally talented individuals to join our lab. Whether you are a MD, bachelor, master, graduate student or a postdoctoral researcher, please reach out to us!
research scientist
I am a research scientist with several years of experience in immunology-based research, driven by a deep curiosity about the complexities of the immune system. I am interested in understanding how we can harness and train the immune system to fight disease more effectively. Outside the lab, I’m passionate about all things sports and music–I’m a competitive runner and currently training for my first triathlon.

I’m a neurologist in training with a passion for translational research. I'm especially interested in how we can better understand neurological autoimmune diseases to develop more effective and personalized treatments. Outside the lab and clinic, I love running and playing the piano.
ali
research assistant
I love to work on computational neuroimmunology, artificial intelligence, molecular structure prediction, and neurological epidemiology - I have fun playing Basketball and computer games, going for a walk or watching movies.
henning
MD candidate
I’m interested in immunology and currently working on NMDAR encephalitis in the lab as part of my thesis. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, doing sports, and spending time outdoors.

phd student
I am a life sciences engineer with a specialisation in computational neuroscience. I am passionate about working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine. In my free time, I enjoy sailing, playing the piano, attending concerts and going on bike tours.
minh
research scientist
I’m interested in artificial intelligence, data science and bioinformatics - especially where they intersect in life science research. When I’m not working with data, I’m either tinkering on mechanical keyboards or chasing Strava segments on my road bike.
momsen
principal investigator
I am a medical doctor with a research background in neurology and autoimmunity. I did my clinical training at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. During my postdoc in Nima Aghaeepour’s lab at Stanford I worked on artificial intelligence models for prediction of disease risk using deep phenotyping and electronic health records. In my free time I love to run and ride my bike and read books for my book club!
